While we were busy organising several weddings last summer, this particular wedding that took place in a very scenic part of Umbria, with a palette of various hues of blue, was very dear to us and we would like to share some shots of the event with you. Federica and German, (Italian bride, Argentine groom) choose to celebrate their civil wedding ceremony in the splendid location of Abbazia di San Faustino, a former 17th century abbey.

The floral arrangements for the deconsecrated church, the groom’s buttonhole and the bride’s bouquet were in beautiful tones of blue. Hydrangea and bougainvillea fitted in well in this wonderful countryside setting. The mermaid-style wedding gown in lace was altered according to the requirements of the bride and supplied by Moda Sposi Atelier. After the wedding ceremony the guests enjoyed a delightful aperitif on the beautiful grounds of the location while the sumptuous wedding banquet was served around the swimming pool. We at Dream ON installed, along with hundreds of candles, large rosone with coloured lights and illumination features all over the grounds of the location, adding romantic soft lights to the whole setting. The climax of the evening came with the emotional cutting of the cake. The setting was magical! The cake was in millefoglie pastry and decorated with fruits of the forest and a crown of flowers and candles, (by Pasticceria Edoardo) . Luminaires floated above the bride and groom and the entire atmosphere was total ‘wow’!Guests and bridal party danced ‘till dawn around the pool and we can assure you – a great time was had by all!
