Lisa and Salvador's wedding was particular fun to photograph. We were graced with just a bit of rain that resulted in a beautiful rainbow just behind their ceremony cite. The folks at Turtle Bay said that happens fairly often on this part of the Hawaii. Despite packing light for a destination wedding, I still managed to bring enough tools to do some off camera lighting at the reception, which I think really helped add to the drama of such a beautiful venue.
Nikeesa & Kyle's wedding took place in late February at the lovely Lange Farm, in Dade City, Florida. Nikeesa and her bridesmaids dressed and prepped in the spacious country bridal suite, while Kyle and his groomsmen waited patiently in the courtyard. Nikeesa chose to have an intimate First Look with her dad, just before they prepared to walk down the aisle.
Love was definitely in the air the night this adorable couple tied the knot! Evan and Melissa share a quirky and lighthearted side that definitely showed in their festive decor. The setting, Casa Ybel Resort, on Sanibel Island lent itself well to their day.
Ryan and Ashley selected the perfect location. The Edison and Ford Winter Estates created the perfect backdrop for their romantic afternoon ceremony. After, the group celebrated at the grooms family home where Ashely decorated the pool area with her simple yet fun style.
Chase, a commercial real estate agent and Amy, a pediatric nurse, turned the rustic Tarpon Lodge on Pine Island into an elegant location with a gorgeous waterside ceremony followed by a party in the hotels main lodge area, a building built in 1926, with all of the same old Florida charm as years ago.
We started their sunset session where they started their relationship – in that cute little swing overlooking the marsh. When we arrived, we drove around curves and turns, and then walked out of this path to a field of nothing but beauty that will take your breath away
Erica + Sam got married on a gorgeous June afternoon at Monday Night Brewing in Atlanta, Georgia. The outdoor setting mirrors Atlanta beautifully, with lush greenery surrounding the ceremony space right outside an urban-yet-rustic brewery right in the heart of downtown.

I was so excited to have the opportunity to photograph Ami & Shane’s wedding. ?We went into the day expecting rain, but instead we were able to see Mars! Chelsey and Seth's wedding was simply stunning from the moment we walked into St. Paul Church until we finished up at the Rivermill Event Center. We were able to get some beautiful images in and outside as we were popping in and out dodging the summer heat.
This wedding started at 6am getting ready offsite about 20 min away from the venue. It was dark out and a strong cup of coffee was going to good use to start the creative process early in the morning. The couple Cristina and Ish were very nice and easy to work with.
This urban chic Southern California couple wanted a modern elegant "Sex in the City" vibe for their engagement shoot. ?Lucky for them I was scheduled to shoot a wedding in Chicago and invited them to come out and meet me the next day. ?Lucky for me they said yes!
From the Bride…Bob was my client when I was doing real estate in Chicago. I thought he was adorable and sweet. I made the first move by Facebook friend requesting him (naturally) when we were no longer working together, he accepted. From there we casually dated for a while, after a few months' things progressed, I met his whole family and then we moved in together. He and I just fit together, easy going, and happy.
Dan and Kelsey met while they were both living in Chicago. Dan was a sales engineer for a telecom company, and Kelsey was earning her master's in writing while waiting tables at an Irish pub. One night at the pub, Kelsey was waiting on a couple when she noticed that the girl, Cathy, was wearing a Baylor University T-shirt. Kelsey and Cathy quickly bonded over their Baylor backgrounds.Soon after, Cathy and her husband John invited Kelsey to a bar crawl they were hosting.
I love cruising, it is one of my favorite ways to vacation. There is just something magical about being out on the open sea, breathing in the salty air and feeling the beautiful breeze grace your skin; so when my husband's coworker asked us to photograph his wedding onboard the Royal Caribbean Independence of the Seas, I was elated to say the least!I met the bride and groom at my husband's work Christmas party, where the four of us sat together at dinner and hit it off immediately! Paul is hilarious and Charmaine is such a sweetheart! The two met at Emmanuel College where they both were involved in sports and have been together since 2010. They have a sweet way about their relationship, that simple knowing of one another and the genuine friendship they share is obvious.

Saturday was my first time meeting Alexa and Zane. Usually I have an engagement session where I get to know a couple before their wedding day, however, Zane is stationed in Virginia Beach, Virginia for the US Coast Gaurd and we could never get our schedules to align before their wedding day.
There are times as a photographer that everything just falls into place so perfectly that you almost have to pinch yourself and say "is this really your life?" … That was Saturday's wedding with Jessilon and Joel at the Foxwood Inn Bed and Breakfast in Flatop, West Virginia.
This was a beautiful wedding of a young couple who met square dancing. To reflect that fact their wedding guests were delighted with a special Bride and Groom Dance in addition to the traditional First Dance and Bridal Party Square Dance.
